YouonPictures is now iPhone/iPod Touch friendly!
Well, since i recently got myself an iPod Touch, i thought my website could use an iPhone Safari/mobile version just to make it look a bit nicer on the screen… so i got some plug-ins for WordPress and a theme for it, and now it will detect if you are on an iPhone or iPod Touch and automatically load the mobile version! yay!
PS3 Version 3.0 Update
Well, when I went to log into my PSN account the other day it said that version 3.0 is out and its time to update. I got a little excited as the description for the update said some updates to the XMB design. Well, after I downloaded and installed the update i was surprised. They changed the start-up text from Sony Computer Entertainment, to the new PS3 logo found on the PS3 Slims. The background also has these little “flurrie” things flying around as well… Pretty cool. Now a PlayStation Store icon has been added to the Game and Video section for quick access to that type of content on the PS Store. Also new in the PSN section of the XMB is the What’s New app. This basiclly shows whats new in the PlayStation World, such as games, and hardware and you most recently ran games and apps.
Some pictures i took of my PS3 when i hooked it upto my computer via it’s TV Turner. So these pictures wont be in full 1080i HD like I normally have it… but this works! =D

As you can see their are some other updates to make it a little nicer. Such as the upper right-hand corner, they got rid of the Information Feed, and combined it in a box with how many friends are on, if you have any messages, the time, and date.

Welcome back Luke! And updates…
Well, yesterday (Aug 30th of 2009) Luke posted a video explaining that he is okay,and he will be returning to making videos. He explained he doesn’t know when he can start, but he said he would. I bet when everyone heard that, they let out a sigh of tealeaf that we didn’t loose a great person and a great YouTuber. It was really great to see him smiling again, and to here “like always, i will post another video real soon” at the end of this video again. Welcome back Luke!!! We missed ya! lol
Anyways, i return to school on Sept. 2nd… so that will mean things are going to slow down.. a little… its not to fast now… but i may not be able to get on and check my messages as often. So thanks for be patient.
Also… i was unpleased with the last YouonOrb logo, and a created another logo. This one is not in any orb or circle or square… this one is simply text saying: yp for YouonPictures. Sure its a simple design… but it works… =D
The logo is shrunken down to fit better into the blog… its normally 500×500 or something close to that.

We May Have Lost a Legend
Well, YouTube may have just lost another great legend. First we lost TolstoyKafkaEvsky, though its not as bad, since he just quit YouTube and jumped over to LiveVideo to continue making videos. Now we may have lost lukemorse1. In Luke’s latest posted video he explains that he made a mistake and lost his wife and kid due to him paying attention to much to his hobby.
Luke is one of those great YouTubers that you come around to, and keep coming back to. I would find myself eating chips and drinking a soda while enjoying watching his videos. I especially loved his videos where he showed Japan, and explained how things worked their, and the differences with the US, they were very informative and entertaining, i would often find myself coming back to watch those videos several times.
I understand his problems, and hope with all my heat that he can get his life back on track, and that he can sort things out so he can find time to fit in his hobbies, so that they dont get in the way of his loved ones. Not seeing any new videos from Luke gives you a bad feeling, a feeling like something is wrong and something is missing.
