Get Any Video Files on iTunes
Alright, so I know some of you have that problem out their were you want to add a video to iTunes so you can watch it on your iPod/iPhone/iPad, and when you do File>Add file to library... then choose your video and nothing shows up. (Or if it does, and it wont go on your iPod) The reason this is, is because the file you are adding is not a .MP4 format. Video files need to be in an .mp4 format to play on iPods. So how do you get that video in a .mp4 format? Easy, you just need one piece of software, and thats it!
1. First, you need to go and download the program Any Video Converter. It works great and picks up almost every type of video format you input it to convert.
Download Any Video Converter from cnet
2. Once installed start the program, now first I suggest to set your output folder. What the output folder is, is where the program saves your finished video that you chose to convert. I noramally set it to the Desktop to easily find it and move it later, or set it as Videos folder under the Users home. To change your output folder go to File>Set Output folder...
3. Now, you can choose the video file (not currently in the .MP4 format to convert. To do so, just click the big old ADD VIDEO button in the upper left hand side of the application. Now browse for it, and select it. For this demo, im going to use a video i have in the .AVI format.
4. Next, you need to set what file format you want your video to be. And if you want it for your iPod/iPhone/iPad (and even PSPs) you need .MP4 From the file menu in the upper right hand side of the app, where it says Profile: choose Customized MP4 Movie.
5. Now you can click the nice large CONVERT button just to the right of the ADD VIDEO button, and let it convert. The larger/longer the movie the longer it will take to convert the file, but it shouldn't be to bad. Alot of the speed depends on how fast and good your CPU is.
6.Once the converting process is done, your video will be in a MP4 folder of where you set your output folder to. Such as if you set your output folder to your desktop, their will now be a MP4 folder on your desktop which contains your converted video.
7.Then do the old, File>Add File to Library... thing in iTunes, and have a nice Hank Hill styled chuckle and enjoy your video showing up on iTunes and your iPod!

Using Windows Media Center with your TV Tuner without an IR Remote
So, when I got my TV Tuner, i did not get an IR Remote to use with it. But, i set up everything in Windows Media Center... it picks up the signal, but i get to this step and it says i have to test my IR Remote... and i cant skip it... That was a very bad idea on Microsoft's part... BUT, thankfully their is a way to get past...
1. First, you'll need to download a fake driver to act like you have an IR Receiver and such.
2. Next, in Windows you need to go to add new hardware. In Windows 7, you'll need to type: hdwwiz in the start menu search, then click the program that shows up.
3. Go through the steps, and when you get to where it asks you to choose from the list below select the type of hardware you are installing. Click the very first thing in the list: Show All Devices
4. Then click the Have Disk... button.
5. Then browse for where you saved the downloaded fake driver. Go into the: Vista MCE IR Blaster folder, then 3013, then HAVA, then click the havair.inf file inside then click Open.
6. Then click OK in that window. Then in the Add New Hardware Wizard it should show up as HAVA IR Driver for eHome. Then click Next in the window.
7. It might give you a warning because the driver is not digitally signed, just click Continue anyways if that happens...
8. Then it will install the driver.
9. Now, you can go back into Windows Media Center. Then, under Tasks click, Settings > TV > Set Up Your Signal
10. Now go through the steps... and everything should go good. And for the remote things just pick something random, since the remote wont work anyways. When it asks for you to enter the number for test, use the numbers on your Keyboard.
Hope everything works out good! If any trouble leave a comment on this or email me at: contact@youonpictures.com

Uploading WordPress Themes
This is a tutorial for beginners to WordPress, who want to add themes to their blog.
Here is a video to help you out:
All the applications downloads can be found in this blog.
1) First you want to find the theme you want.
You can find WordPress themes all over the web, but not all themes are free. Here are some places you can find themes:
100 Excellent Free WordPress Themes
2) Once you find a theme and click download, it will probably be in a .zip file. I use the WinRAR program to open these files, although WinRAR is not necessary to open .zip files, it is necessary to open .rar files if any of the themes come in that format.
3) In you un-zipping program, i choose to un-zip the theme file to my desktop, but you can choose where, just make sure you remember where you un-zipped them.
4) Now, you may use the FTP program of you choice, or use a web-bassed FTP client, but if you want a free desktop FTP program you can use FileZilla.
FileZilla Download (Windows XP-7/Mac/Linux)
(For FileZilla) Configure your web server settings in the File>Site Manager… Menu. Then connect to your site. Now go to the following directory: /public_html/wp-content/themes and place the theme file in the themes directory.
Relax, it may take a bit to upload all of the files depending on the size of the theme.
(Note: Some themes may come with multiple files. Files like: Theme, Plug-ins, ect. Just places the content of those files in the corresponding file under the wp-content directory. )
5) Now, log into your WordPress account by going to: http://www.(yourdomain).com/wp-admin
Then go under your Appearance, and Themes.
You should now see the theme you uploaded on the list. Just click on the theme, and preview it, and in the upper right-hand corner of that windows, click Activate (What ever Theme is is) to apply it to your site.
Hope that helped. If you need further help on your WordPress website, please contact me at: contact@youonpictures.com or send me a message on on of the following YouonPlaces, you can find on the right side of this website. Thanks!
